The position is open in the software department.

NEXIO has developed EMC test automation software: BAT-EMC.

This software automates testing to our customers' various standards (DO160, MIL STD, EN 61 000-4-x, automotive standards, etc.).

 

Why do we need you?

As an EMC Application Engineer, you will use your expertise to help our customers to automate EMC tests and provide technical support on our range of specialized software.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Provide a technical support online and occasionally at customer sites.
  2.  Installvalidate, and train our customers on the software (missions in France and abroad).
  3. Help improve our services by providing customer feedback.
  4.  Occasionally design and develop tools included in the software.
  5.  Write specifications for the development team in response to customer requests.
  6. Develop scripts (instructions) and drivers for measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers/measurement receivers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.

The position is mainly open in our office in Paris or Toulouse, with 2 days of teleworking.

The position is also open to 100% teleworking in France or abroad in Western Europe, with regular travel to the Toulouse headquarters for training and developing team spirit.

Your knowledge and expertise...

With a technical education from a bachelor’s degree to master’s degree in electronics and/or instrumentation, you have one- or two-years' experience in the field of measurement, ideally in an EMC laboratory.

You are familiar with the use of measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers/measurement receivers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

You have computer skills, particularly in algorithm development and equipment control scripts. Knowledge of C++ and/or C# would also be appreciated.

You are willing and available to travel in France and abroad (once or twice a quarter for around 5 days).

You speak and write fluent English.

You have good interpersonal skills, able to establish a relationship of trust with our customers. Your ability to offer quality advice, provide accurate technical support and train our customers will be essential in meeting their needs and guaranteeing their satisfaction.

You also enjoy working as part of a team, coordinating your actions, and sharing information with other team members. You have initiative, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
