NEXIO and LNE join forces to create a radiofrequency test laboratory

Partnership signed on April 18, 2023

NEXIO and LNE

Building on several years of fruitful cooperation, NEXIO and LNE signed a partnership agreement on April 18, 2023 to create a radio frequency test laboratory. Thanks to the complementary nature of their skills, this collaboration will enable them to support manufacturers from design to market launch of their connected products.

NEXIO, the EMC specialist, expands the radio frequency capabilities of its electromagnetism design office set up in 2022. This design office brings together experts in antenna design, simulation, interference analysis and investigation. It operates in the aerospace, automotive, medical, telecoms, defense and energy sectors, providing support from specification to certification.

As for LNE, it brings its experience in multi-domain testing to bear, helping its customers to qualify the performance and robustness of their products, and to check their conformity for market release, thanks to tests carried out under Cofrac accreditation.

This partnership is based on the creation of an Economic Interest Grouping (EIG) that will enable NEXIO and LNE to pool radio frequency measurement resources, including state-of-the-art equipment up to 40 GHz. The two partners will make their respective expertise available to their customers, offering a one-stop shop for RADIO performance and qualification testing.

From September 2023, thanks to the installation of a new radio frequency cage at LNE's Trappes site, manufacturers will be able to carry out performance measurements and qualification tests on their modules using current technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, 5G, and eventually 6G, and the associated standards.
