RGPD – PRIVACY PRACTICES

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force on May 25, 2018, defines the principles to be respected when collecting, processing and storing personal data. They also guarantee the rights of the people concerned.

Several forms are available on the www.nexiogroup.com website to collect visitor data:

1 : Objectives

The purpose of collecting data on the www.nexiogroup.com website is to create a management file of NEXIO SAS prospects and customers. This file is used for statistical purposes, to contact and/or propose relevant content to contacts.

2: Data relevance

In order to better track the interest of NEXIO’s prospects and customers, the file collects all information from visitors to the NEXIO group’s sites relating to identity, professional information and activity on the NEXIO group’s sites. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, information relating to a person’s racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health or sex life is not collected and is prohibited (sensitive data).

3: Lawfulness of processing and conditions applicable to consent (Art.6 and Art.7 of the RGPD)

Consent to the processing of a visitor’s personal data is systematically obtained for one or more specific purposes. For example, when filling in a newsletter registration form or downloading a resource, the purpose of obtaining the visitor’s email address is to notify them of new publications or to suggest resources that may be of interest to them.

4: Data retention

Data collected on NEXIO Group sites is kept for a maximum of 12 months for anonymous contacts, after the last activity on the website by the person. On the other hand, for identified contacts, the data collected on the www.nexiogroup.com website is kept for a maximum of 36 months. At the end of these periods, all data relating to the person is automatically deleted.

5: Individual rights (Art.16 to 20 of the RGPD)

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the RGPD, all persons may exercise their right to access, rectify, oppose, limit processing, delete and port data concerning them by sending a request by post, signed and accompanied by a copy of an identity document, to the NEXIO SAS head office address, or by filling in the form on this link: RGPD Form / personal data

The person responsible for the file will reply within one month of the request for access or rectification.

6: Data security and processing (Art. 32 of the RGPD)

Data collected on the www.nexiogroup.com website and associated processing are hosted by NEXIO SAS. Only persons linked to the technical, marketing and sales departments of NEXIO SAS and its subcontractors have access to information collected on NEXIO group sites, via a unique personal identifier.

7: Data breach and communication within 72 hours (Art. 33 and Art. 34 of the RGPD)

In the event of a breach or suspected breach of personal data, NEXIO SAS and its subcontractors will notify the CNIL within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

 

PERSONAL DATA

In order to provide the best possible experience, quality informative content, access to specific information such as resources and tutorials, and a private area, site visitors may be asked to fill in forms, or even to log in with a login and password. The information collected is then processed by computer for the purpose of providing the service. The recipients of the data are exclusively persons working for the NEXIO Group.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, you have the right to access and rectify any information concerning you. You can exercise this right by contacting our support department at dpo@nexiogroup.com. You may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of your personal data.

 

ABOUT COOKIES

When you visit NEXIO Group sites, information relating to the browsing of your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) on our site may be recorded in text files called “Cookies”, installed on your terminal, subject to your choices concerning Cookies, which you may modify at any time.
