Key steps to successful EMC certification :
Whatever the type, size and complexity of the electronic equipment under development, EMC management is a matter of managing risks, costs and development time.
In this presentation, NEXIO consultants will share the 5 key steps for embarking on an EMC certification process with mastery and serenity.
They’ll show you why managing these constraints is much simpler than it seems, as long as you take them into account methodically from the very first hectometers of your projects.
For several years, demand for radiofrequency testing has grown significantly for two reasons:
• Radio communication modules are increasingly used in medical devices, industrial equipment and IoT devices.
• The regulatory context is evolving and becoming more restrictive, with the implementation of the RED Directive 2014/53/EU, which applies to all these products and complements the EMC and Low Voltage Directives.
Radiofrequency testing is necessary to ensure the compliance of equipment using radiofrequencies. LNE, an experienced laboratory in multi-domain testing, supports its clients in qualifying product performance and robustness, and in verifying product compliance for market access through tests performed under Cofrac accreditation*.
NEXIO, a specialist in electromagnetic simulation, is more involved in the design phase, helping manufacturers anticipate and resolve potential functional issues. The LNE and NEXIO partnership allows us to pool our measurement equipment within a radiofrequency testing platform equipped with latest-generation systems, such as a 5G band simulator, and to offer comprehensive support.
We are offering a webinar to provide an update on the RED Directive and to present the new radio platform, along with the services available to help you meet the Directive’s requirements.
Main topics covered:
• Regulatory update on changes to the RED Directive
• Testing capabilities and positioning of LNE and NEXIO in the radio field
• Presentation of the radio platform and the radio services offered

During this presentation, NEXIO and LNE presented various points:
– Radio communication modules are increasingly present in medical devices, industrial equipment and IOTs,
– An evolving and restrictive regulatory context with the implementation of the RED 2014/53/EU directive, which applies to all these products and complements the EMC and Low Voltage directives.
Main points covered:
– Regulatory update on changes to the RED directive
– LNE and NEXIO testing capabilities and positioning in radio
– Presentation of the radio platform and radio services offered
Key steps to successful RADIO certifications :
Whatever the type, size and complexity of electronic equipment under development, managing EMC and RADIO constraints is a matter of managing risks, costs and development time.
In September 2021, NEXIO presented the 5 key steps for embarking on an EMC certification process with mastery and serenity. Are these steps applicable and sufficient to obtain RADIO certification under the same conditions?
That’s what NEXIO’s consultants will tell you in this presentation. You’ll discover why managing these constraints is much simpler than it seems, as long as you take them into account methodically from the outset of your projects.
In this forty-minute presentation, punctuated by interviews with a panorama of all the players in the industry, and time for discussion, we invite you to (re)-discover in 5 points the impact of the new provisions of the Abeille law for manufacturers and distributors of connected and wireless devices.
