Fundamentals and rules of electronic board design

Training

09/19/24 and 09/20/24 - Grenoble

EMC is a growing concern in electronic board design.
Fast buses, HDI, the complexity of active components, buried components are all
new elements increasing the complexity of electronic board design.

Objectives

This course is designed for people wishing to understand and reduce the risks associated with electromagnetic interference phenomena, right from the design stage of electronic boards.
After a reminder of the fundamentals, the trainer will present a precise description of the mechanisms of electromagnetic disturbances, with concrete examples.
Numerical applications, exercises and examples
based on real industrial cases will be presented and discussed.
  • Target group: Managers, engineers or technicians involved in development activities in
electronics or equipment design (studies, design, test laboratory).
  • Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of electricity or electronics is desirable.
  • Teaching aids: paper, slide show on video projector, illustrations in SPICE,
    discussion of industrial cases.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of EMC
    electronic boards
  • Understanding EMC phenomena on electronic boards
  • Building a routing analysis
  • Set up a design assistance flow adapted to your business
