RADIO measurement software
Radio interference emission and prescription test
Our automated radio test software enables you to carry out radiated measurements in accordance with ETSI standards 300 328, 300 220-1, 300 220-2 and 301 908-1, for broadband transmission systems and data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
User benefits
A single software package for all your EMC and radio measurements: A single interface, a common configuration, and an integrated report to simplify and speed up your tests.
Radiated Radio Tests - Radio Measurement Software
Our automated radio test software enables you to carry out radiated measurements in accordance with ETSI standards 300 328, 300 220-1, 300 220-2 and 301 908-1, for broadband transmission systems and data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
Key features
Automate radio tests to ensure that your equipment complies with radio frequency spectrum standards:
For radio equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz to 2.4835 GHz band (e.g. Bluetooth® wireless technologies, Zigbee™, etc.).
For short-range equipment operating in the 25 MHz to 1 GHz frequency range.
For all types of radio devices meeting the technical requirements for a given frequency band (e.g. telemetry, alarms, data transmission, etc.).
For Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) user equipment, offering a high-speed, low-latency communication link between cell phones and base stations.
Automated Test Process (according to standard 300 328)
Chamber calibration
Measure the absolute value via pre-calibration with measurement and substitution antennas. Calibration is a two-step process:
- Direct measurement without antennas.
- Mitigation measure.
Disturbance test
A full band scan is performed, maximizing detection of frequencies close to or beyond the 6 dB limit.
Final measurement
Measure equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) and effective radiated power (ERP) using the substitution method.
Report
BAT-EMC software automatically generates a customized report including all final measurements and results.
Tested to standards 300 220 and 301 908
BAT-EMC facilitates the definition of test frequencies by using two essential variables:
- Fc: Center frequency (operating frequency).
- OCW: Occupied channel width.
